Placement Policy 

1. Resume Preparation : Students must prepare resumes that accurately reflect their skills and are tailored to the type of job they are applying for.  

2. Accuracy of Information : All information provided in the resume must be correct and verifiable. Any false, misleading, or fraudulent information discovered at any stage will result in the student being barred from the placement process.  

3. Company Credibility : The Training & Placement (T&P) Department invites companies for final-year recruitment and shares their details with students. Students are advised to independently verify the credibility and background of these companies.  

4. Terms and Conditions : All joining dates and job-related terms & conditions must be mutually agreed upon between the student and the company.  

5. No Financial Transactions : Students must not engage in any financial transactions related to placement activities. The college is not responsible for any monetary dealings between students and external parties.  

6. Non-Interest in Placement : Students who are not interested in participating in placements must formally inform the T&P department in writing.  

7. Mandatory Registration : Students must register separately for each campus recruitment drive they wish to attend.  

8. Document Requirements : Students must carry all required documents for every recruitment drive.  

9. Identification : Students must carry their college ID card and be dressed in proper formals or the prescribed college uniform during recruitment drives.  

10. Attendance Requirement : To participate in placement activities, students should maintain a minimum attendance of 75% up to the 6th semester.  

11. Director’s Discretion : The Director may bar any student from recruitment drives in case of misconduct or indiscipline.  

12. Eligibility Criteria : Specific eligibility rules for each company will be shared with students beforehand.  

13. Participation Opportunities / Undeclared Results : Students may attend multiple campus drives until they receive an offer or until their final result is officially declared.  

14. Job Offer Participation Policy : Each student is eligible for only one job offer. If an exception is granted for a second offer, students will be notified in advance by the Director and the T&P Department.  Students wishing to attend another drive after receiving an offer may do so only if the new company offers a CTC 1.5× or higher than their existing offer.  

15. Core vs. Non-Core Participation : Students from Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Electronics & Communication (EC) may participate in core recruitment drives even if they hold non-core offers.  Students who receive an offer in their core domain are not permitted to attend further core drives.  MBA students with offers in their minor specialization will receive an additional opportunity to secure a job in their major specialization, provided they declare both specializations to the T&P Department at the time of registration.  

16. Non-Joining Notification : Students who decide not to join a company after being selected must inform the T&P Department in writing with a valid reason at the earliest.  

17. Communication with Company Officials : Direct communication with company officials during recruitment is strictly prohibited unless approved by the T&P Department.  

18. Absence Without Valid Reason : If a student commits to attend a drive but is absent without a valid reason, it will be treated as indiscipline. Repeated cases may result in the student being barred from future placement activities.  

19. Lack of Participation : If a student fails to apply for or attend at least three placement drives, it will be assumed that they are not interested in placements.
