1About SearchMyAdmission

SearchMyAdmission is a career-to-admission intelligence platform that helps students navigate higher education admissions in India, including but not limited to GGSIPU (IPU CET, JEE Mains, CLAT UG) and AKTU/UPTAC admission processes. Our Services include free tools such as college predictors and directories, as well as paid products such as the College Comparison & Choice Filling Strategy Report.

2Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use our Services. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf, particularly in relation to any paid purchases.

3Nature of Our Services — Important Disclaimers

3.1 Predictive and Informational Tool, Not a Guarantee

All predictors, comparison reports, probability scores, demand levels, and choice filling strategies offered by SMA are generated using statistical analysis of historical counselling data (including but not limited to closing ranks from previous counselling rounds published by GGSIPU, AKTU, and other relevant authorities).

3.2 Not Official Counselling Guidance

SMA is an independent, privately operated platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to GGSIPU, AKTU, UPTAC, JEE Apex Board, NTA, CLAT Consortium, or any government admission authority. All official admission decisions, seat allotments, and counselling procedures are governed exclusively by the respective official bodies. Students and parents must always verify information against official counselling brochures and notifications before making admission decisions.

3.3 Data Source and Accuracy

Our cutoff data, college information, and computed scores are compiled from publicly available historical counselling records. While we take reasonable care to ensure accuracy, we do not warrant that all data is complete, current, or error-free. Cutoff trends can shift year to year due to factors beyond historical patterns.

4Paid Services — College Comparison & Choice Filling Strategy Report

4.1 What You Receive

Upon successful payment, you will receive a personalised report generated using your provided rank, category, exam type, target college, and predictor data. The report includes a college comparison, admission probability estimates, a suggested choice filling order, and round-by-round guidance.

4.2 Report Credits

Each payment of ₹499 entitles you to 3 (three) report generations (“Credits”) tied to your registered phone number. Additional reports beyond your purchased credits may be generated at ₹99 per report, subject to availability of the service at that time.

4.3 Target College Feasibility

To maintain the integrity and usefulness of the report, our system applies a feasibility check before generating a report. If your selected target college is determined to be statistically unrealistic relative to your rank (based on historical closing rank data), you will be notified and asked to select an alternative target college. This is designed to protect you from purchasing a report with limited practical value.

4.4 Accuracy of Information Provided by You

You are responsible for accurately entering your rank, category, exam type, and other details. SMA is not liable for inaccurate reports resulting from incorrect information provided by you at the time of purchase.

5Payments

5.1 Pricing

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time; changes will not affect orders already placed.

5.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway. SMA does not store your card, UPI, or banking credentials. By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay’s applicable terms and conditions.

6User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our underlying scoring methodology, algorithms, or proprietary data
• Misrepresent your identity, rank, category, or other information to manipulate report outcomes
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any report or content generated through our Services without prior written consent
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access our Services in a manner that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce

7Intellectual Property

All content on SMA, including but not limited to our scoring methodology, comparison logic, report formats, design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of SearchMyAdmission INC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

Reports generated for your personal use remain your property to use for your own admission decision-making, but the underlying methodology and template remain our proprietary intellectual property.

8Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• SMA, its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our Services.
• We are not liable for any decisions made by you (including college choice, choice filling order, or admission strategy) based on information provided through our Services. All such decisions remain solely your responsibility.
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.

9No Professional Advisory Relationship

The use of our Services, including any AI-generated or rule-based reports, does not create a counsellor-client, advisory, or fiduciary relationship between you and SMA. For complex personal circumstances, we recommend consulting directly with our counselling team via the call/WhatsApp option available on our platform, or seeking independent professional guidance.

10Third-Party Links and Services

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites (such as official counselling portals, college websites, or payment gateways). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third-party sites.

11Changes to Services and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services at any time without prior notice. We may also update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date above.

12Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Services, including any unused report credits, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or misused the platform.

13Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
