What is Army Officer (CDS Entry)?
An army officer leads soldiers in defending India's borders, maintaining internal security and supporting disaster relief operations. Selected through CDS (Combined Defence Services) Exam or NDA and trained at IMA Dehradun, army officers are among the most comprehensively trained leaders in the country. The Indian Army is the world's second-largest standing army with over 1.2 million active personnel. It is a career of honour, discipline, camaraderie and genuine national service.
